LEFT OVER CANDY

LEFT OVER CANDY

Just fleeting in and out today, as I’m going to the Country Living Christmas fair. So excited, this is basically the beginning of the festive season for me. I am deep breathing to stay calm as I know it is going to be mayhem there on the opening day!A few pictures from the last seven […]

FADING BLOOMS

FADING BLOOMS

Will be back to regular posting very soon, just, working, hanging with the cats, spending time with family while they are over and watching the flowers fade. Happy thursday x

GATHERED BEAUTY

GATHERED BEAUTY

Another few gloomy days on the outside and today looks to be no different, but indoors the tigers have been snoozing and I am cutting out lots of butterflies for some garlands, sewing and slowly building up more things for sale. I will show you soon I promise. This basket of gathered beauty (top) was […]

TEENAGERS

TEENAGERS

So I’ve been waiting in all day for a parcel which could still arrive before 7pm (slim chance), I have missed a super sunny day, Old Town pirate day, the assembling of a giant scull and cross bones on the beach, helicopter rides, yes it really was that exciting out today, but Friday hasn’t been […]

TROUBLE TIMES TWO

TROUBLE TIMES TWO

The sofa has changed to a dark grey colour which I have brightened with some new cushions and a few I made. The four legged folk are already making the most of them, Marlo in protest keeps shoving them on to the floor, and now the other one has run off with my belt, surely […]

FOLLOW THE LEADER

FOLLOW THE LEADER

Lately I am obsessing over blues and coral, and also impatiently waiting on a parcel of semi precious gem stones to arrive.Trying to get the house ready for a photo shoot, but with these two naughty tigers following me about (touching and sniffing everything I touch like a day long game of follow the leader) […]

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

Currently trying to teach myself how to paint traditional Gypsy and country roses for a DIY project (with a little help from my friends).

THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

The good-I am working in a super beautiful shop with a friend today, the bad-this little mite is poorly and has been packed off to the vets with the husband, the ugly-after three weeks of glorious sunshine, I think it’s going to rain. Hopefully be back later with more cheerful news. x

HOME TRUTHS

HOME TRUTHS

Good morning Tuesday. I am sometimes curious of what you think of me, (please be kind) and also conscious of how I portray myself. Over at Lynne’s the other day I found this blog post which made me smile. Being quite a cheerful person, I don’t dwell on negative things too often. I joke with […]

RUNNING WITH SCISSORS

RUNNING WITH SCISSORS

I don’t often talk about things like this, but I had a horrible morning. One of my little tigers got her head caught in the throw on the sofa, she was so scared and scratched me to bits when I tried to help her, I was so afraid and felt so helpless, I ran for […]

SUGARY FOOTPRINTS

SUGARY FOOTPRINTS

Thank you for all the kitten love. A weekend of baking cakes for a friend in a whirlwind of powder fine icing sugar combined with the excitement of our little girls arriving left the kitchen floor covered in tiny sugary footprints. Not phased by the loud whir of the electric whisk they skittered from room […]

THE HOUSE

THE HOUSE

All was calm until I let those tiny tigers loose, now the contents of our coffee table are strewn all over the floor, the tiles are covered in water and kitty biscuits, and there is a game of chase going on around the living room, I just don’t know how I am going to get […]

TINY TIGERS

TINY TIGERS

We collected our two little tabby rescue girls on Saturday, they are like tiny tigers ripping the house and my hands to shreds. But all is calm right now, they are all snuggled up together and having a sleep. No names yet as we are waiting for their personalities to shine through.
