Just some of the wonderful things that will be for sale at the Renegade Craft Fair in London this September. I have long watched the unfolding of beautiful stalls at these fairs all over America, and for the 2nd time The Renegade Craft Fair will be held in London’s Old Truman Brewery, at 81 Brick [...]
Todays something pink, is this beautiful illustration of Emma Cassi’s Bamboo necklace by Philadelphia based artist Danielle Kroll. Image Danielle Kroll.
Mysterious circumstances and fancy urns, just a few of Baltimore based artist Yelena Bryksenkova’s favourite things. Who is in her own words ‘Russian-born, midwest-raised, baltimore-based’. A few of my favourite things are her wonderful illustrations and paintings.I love the colours and patterns, the fun things her characters take part in, their delicate worlds and surroundings. Yelena’s [...]
All things bright and beautiful, the last tiniest art show of 2011. The sun is shining in one half of the sky, the other half is clouding over with a menacing grey. After all the fun and games of Christmas are packed away we still need some colour inspiration to start a new year. With [...]
Remember remember the fifth of November, we had a great outdoor family party on Saturday night, complete with epic bonfire, a basket of hotdogs for the children, huge pots of meatballs and curried chicken (for the people trusted with sauce!), pumpkin pie and fireworks, a few flying too low, but no-one injured, so we live [...]
A collection of cosy soul warming necessities for when the nights draw in. Warming things for colder days in my newest Etsy treasury x
Love these prints by Kristjana S Williams. Bright, colourful and quite magical, these are from Kristjana’s collection called ‘Dyragardur’ (Animal garden) and have been described as “A cosmic Victorian safari”. I just love the colours and the patterns of each delicate butterfly wing.
A little sunday post. Who knew lines and dots could be so beautiful? New York based artist Caitlin Foster certainly does. Inspired by landscapes in California, natural history and textiles, and with an eye for tiny pattern she creates these lovely drawings.
Happy September! The first day of Autumn, I am happy to say this season always inspires me, nesting up ready for winter, halloween and bonfire night, cardigans, jumpers, blankets and hand knitted socks. Starting the new month and season with a collection from the tiniest art show, some artists have been featured before but I [...]
I often get lovely things through the post and am, as you can imagine quite forgetful in returning the joy. So today I am putting together a few packages. Making, wrapping, decorating then mailing. If you are also looking for something lovely to send, I fell in love with these super sweet sentiments designed by [...]
Right I’m pulling myself together, still glued to the News but I’m just going to have to do two things at once. And having spent all day at home with my Tigers I thought I’d dedicate a Tiniest art show post to them and their namesakes. Yes, yes I am now a crazy cat lady [...]
So thrilled was I, at searching for art works and putting together the July edition of my tiniest art show that I thought I’d get to it promptly for August so here we go . . . . . . 1 and 13 original watercolour and abstract drawings on paper by Francesca Lancisi, 2 and [...]
If you are online tomorrow morning your Saturday browsing should definitely start with a trip to Zosienka and Rosie Illustration I have seen their Walrus tea towel before but never any of the other pieces and they just keep getting better. I love the lion in pyjammas tote and the tiny painted ceramic hearts. And well, while [...]
