JANUARY HIGHS

NY 2014Hello and happy 2014 to you! Sorry for just disappearing, but the festive season just carried me off and I am only just getting back to normal. I hope you had a lovely time with family and friends. My mornings have been spent enjoying sitting cross legged on the carpet looking out through the french doors at the birds on the feeders while eating my hot bowl of porridge.Cinnamon Spice PorridgeWhere most complain of the January blues, I get new year highs! A fresh new year, feverish to complete projects and start new ones, still hibernating in doors but making plans for better weather. It is only just starting to get wintery, but still not a frost to be seen here up on the cliff top. Not that I want any, my daffodils think Spring is already here and are peeping their first leaves out of the earth. Beetroot Seeds for saleThe rest of my time has been spent updating my Etsy shop with these seed gift boxes and other fun things to come and deciding to eat a vegan diet for 30 days to de-dairy myself and see if it helps my skin flourish. So far it has been fun and not hard at all as we eat this way a lot of the time anyway, just with a ton of cheese! No resolutions as such, just to make this year even better than the last, take more photos which eluded me in 2013, and I subscribed to three of my favourite magazines to stop me walking out of the newsagents with 3 kilos of paper every month (not to mention the horrific dent in my bank account). Did you make any resolutions this year? xVeganuary

  1. Happy new year! I love the little matchbox seeds. I’m hoping to take more photos this year too. I think 2014 will be a good year x

Saw your seed gift boxes in the latest issue of 91 magazine, such a sweet idea.
I don’t really do resolutions but I am making a kind of poster of my projects, dreams, goals, ideas and creative questions.
Looking forward to seeing your photos.
