So the first day of my matchbox challenge has finally arrived. Box number one is inspired by my love of all things airmail related. The outside is collaged with old post marks and replica stamps. Inside is a tiny collection of vintage holiday snaps all tied with string, complete with a tiny handmade luggage tag, the drawer is clad in the handwriting from an antique post card, and inside with the photos is a vintage stamp and airmail logos. What do you think? Did you make this first one too? I will list the matchbox over at Etsy later today x

Awwwww, it’s gorgeous! You are so talented. Can’t wait to see the others x

Jeska! I cannot believe how über elaborate and detailed your first matchbox is. Love. I’ve joined your fun challenge and just posted my first matchbox on my blog. Thanks so much… I can’t wait to see more of your gorgeous creations and to see what other participants will make.
Popping over to flickr.

I love it Jeska!
I’m quite excited about this wee challenge (just blogged about it this morning to help spread the word) and will be joining in with one or two myself. So wish I had more time to join in for the whole month though, so much fun!
Looking forward to seeing many more matchbox creations, have a lovely day my dear!

Been following your blog & drooling over your creations for some time now. This little matchbox is absolute perfection – L.O.V.E.

it’s perfection!
This is utterly beautiful. What an original way to fundraise. I wondered why your matchbox appealed to me so much then i remembered that i have a total weakness for expensive and beautifully packaged soaps, and your matchbox reminds me of these. I may have to pay a visit to your etsy shop…
so lovely
All these tiny little details. I am so impressed.
One of my goals for this years is to make a doll house and I think this series could be sort of a muse to me.
This is absolutely adorable!! I should try doing one of these for myself sometime soon! Thanks for the inspirational posts
Have a lovely weekend!
