Yesterday, excited but a little shaky after my tooth was taken out, we went to choose our tree at a lovely family owned farm out in the freezing cold. Usually a drawn out affair with too many contenders or none quite right, but yesterday was quiet, a world away from the weekend choosers, clutching to their tree’s in fear of someone else grabbing the same one. With our two feral tigers and corner space in mind we chose the runt of the litter with barely any back branches, and I felt very happy to take it home, like he might never get picked due to his imperfect shape. I was a bit worried about under decorating, but after seeing these beautiful Danish trees below on the Team Living site (via the lovely Sanctuary), I am really happy with the barely decorated look. x
