So now the Summer has really gone, the smell of fresh mown grass, roses and candy floss are replaced with rain, fallen leaves and hearty dinners. This is the season when I like to start stock piling scented things for our home, zesty soaps for invigorating showers that wake you up when it’s dark outside at 7am, warming amber scented body lotion to keep winter skin soft, spice infused candles for dusky evenings, a glittering cushion to reflect the light from those flickering flames, delicate incense for a peaceful weekends spent at home making seasonal gifts, a favourite mug for tea, soup, Bovril, some indulgent chocolates, and rugs for extra layers under cold feet.
